Khajaguda Hill
Khajaguda hill is accessible from Delhi Public School. Turn right before entering Lanco Hills, take a left turn after Tea Stall. Park your vehicle at Anoos, then hike up. Refer to the zone map to locate boulders listed here.

Location Map: How to Reach Khajaguda Hills
Timings: Open year-round. Best visited early mornings (6 AM – 9 AM) or late evenings (4:00 PM – 6:30 PM) to avoid the midday heat.
How to Reach:
Located about 15 km from Hyderabad city center, near Khajaguda X Road.
Parking is available near DPS Khajaguda or the lake. From there, it’s a 5-minute walk up rocky paths to the main climbing areas.
Once can drive up to the hill on the trail.

Climbing Routes at Khajaguda Hills
- Beginner problems (V0–V2): Perfect for first-timers, including Shivalik Slab and Heel Assassin.
- Intermediate routes (V3–V5): Test your skills on Spiral Roof and Queen’s Edge.
- Advanced climbs (V6+): For pros seeking roof climbs and highballs—spotters and pads are a must.
Killer - Heel Assassin
Rock: Killer Rock
Line: Heel Assassin ( Left side line to Killer line) Difficult Level: V2 First Ascent: Devender (5-Dec-2012) It is a really nice heel hook start. About seven moves to top out. Start with hands matching on the ledge, right foot on a tiny ledge under overhang, heel hook with left leg to take off the climb. All static moves, dont attempt a any dynamic moves. Line: Sit Start Difficulty Level: V1 Location: Near killer rock. First Ascent: Ranga. It is an easy sit start to practice. Heel hook wouldnt be necessary for a perfect sit start. |
L-Rock
Rock: L-Rock
Lines: Left(1), Middle(2), Right(1), Traverse Difficulty level: V0 Location: On the way to Killer, L face is visible on the left side. No registered first ascent. Several climbers climbed. Ideal practice rock to spend an hour. Practice balancing with one handed climb, no hands climb etc. Usually climbed on every visit to this place for warm up. Momo Rock
Rock: Momo Rock
Location: Near Killer rock Difficulty level: Easy Easy rock with the first move is V0 and then it is an easy ladder afterwards. |
Potato rock
Location: The first rock when you enter Khajaguda trail. (Turn right at Y fork when you hike to Darga). Difficulty Level: V0+. Dont miss left leg foot hold when you are half way. |
Shivalik
Location: Valley between Zone1 and 3. It is on the way towards baba cave from Killer.
Difficulty: V1+. First ascent: Ranga Known ascents: Anubha Extreme sharpness of the holds makes it v1+ otherwise it will be a v0. route is in the line of crashpad that is seen in the picture. |
Gear & Safety Tips
- Bring climbing shoes, chalk bag, and crash pads (Hyderabad Climbers provides basic gear for beginners during workshops).
- Always climb with a spotter and use multiple crash pads for highballs.
- Respect nature: avoid climbing on wet rock and carry back all litter.
