Kurnool Rock Trip for limestone climbing.
We will do lot of bouldering and some short pitches during this trip.
Schedule: We will leave from Hyderabad on the night of 23rd December, right after HCC-2012. We will have some of the climbers who attended HCC-2012 participating as well.
24th, 25th & 26th - Climb in Kurnool. Come back to city by the night of 26th.
Return to Hyderabad on the night of 26th.
Transportation: We will travel by bus to Kurnool or we may car pool.
Climbing shoes: It is advised to get your own climbing shoes. You can rent climbing shoes from club for Rs. 100 a day, subject to availability.
RSVP: Please fill registration form in this page along with your payment details. You will receive confirmation email on receiving payment.
Cost: Rs. 4000 per person. We will split actual cost if it is higher. Will refund excess if we manage to do it in less than Rs. 4000. Out of actual expense, 10% will be collected towards club donation.
Accommodation: Tented or rooms on triple/four sharing basis.
Things to Bring:
1) A good and positive mood to climb.
2) sun hat/ screen ( for the ladies and fair and handsome)
3) walking /trekking /sport shoes preferably with anklets
4) Medicines you need
5) Tiffin Box to carry lunch or u can manage with a plastic cover or paper
6) Refreshments / chocolates / energy bars/ Energy Drinks / sugar salt mixture ( for the poor)
7) water bottle - 2 Liters
8) Toiletries ( tooth brush, paste, small towel/napkin, comb, shampoo, toilet tissues)
9) Photo Id ( passport, Employee/College Id, Pan card/Election Card/ Driving License) with a xerox copy
10) A rucksack / haversack, in other words a bag u can put all your stuff in and hang on your back, try to keep the bag as light as possible.
11) 2 Labled emergency Notes with your name and address, phone numbers, emergency contact name and number, Blood Group, doctors name and number, with information on any medicines you take and any allergies you have with food or medicines.
12) Cloths required for trip. We may or may not get a chance for laundry but dont carry too many clothes.
